Many teachers waste valuable instructional time on attendance registration. See how Attender helps you recover that wasted time.
With 4 different interactive ways to take attendance, teachers select their preferred way and save valuable time on registering attendance every day!
When a teacher opens Attender, it already knows what the time is and automatically shows the current lesson. It is quite intuitive – mark red for not present, green for present and yellow for late (with the option of selecting how many minutes late).
You can also collectively mark everyone present or not present with one click.
The gridview provides you with enlarged student pictures and smaller text showcasing their attendance rate. This ensures your ability to view more students simultaneously on the screen. This is particularly beneficial in larger classes where gaining an overview may be troublesome.
Not all lessons take place in the classroom. That’s why we have also built a very mobile friendly interface. And with our swipe view, it’s super easy to mark students one by one. You just swipe right to mark ‘present’, swipe left to mark ‘not present’ and swipe up to mark ‘late’.
If you want to save time or get an overview of all your lessons and students for the day, Attenders’ all-day view gives you an easy way to do so by marking attendance for a whole day at a time.
If a student is not present, a teacher can check if a student is marked sick or if there is an reason for absence. The teacher can also create one – either with an absence “tag” or with a note.
When you register attendance, you will automatically get live statistics. Attender shows the students’ absence for this course but also for the whole class. This means you can easily spot students with high absence without having to dig for data in a statistics interface.
The live statistics can be switched off if you are taking attendance on a Smartboard or similar.
Remember that Attender is available in any browser, iOS, Android and in Microsoft Teams. So, no matter if you are in the classroom or on the football field, attendance registration is a breeze.
But wait there is more! You can choose to limit guest teachers’ access by only giving them permission to their own lessons – and nothing more.
We also have the option to factor in academic merit, maternity leave, and many other special circumstances. Thus, making Attender a truly comprehensive attendance platform.
Attender also provides a comprehensive statistical interface, available for teachers. Teachers have access to statistics on their students. Use Attender to gain insight into trends in the student body to always be informed of potential issues!

Attender has been developed in collaboration with schools
We have spent countless hours and days with schools and teachers to ensure that Attender fulfills their needs. Two things are strikingly apparent – less time should be spent on attendance registration and more time should be devoted to teaching.
Attender is a Microsoft Partner and has been developed in collaboration with Microsoft.
